The wine is matured in barrels for 14 months to round out the tannins and give it a more accessible youth. All the vines are cultivated biodynamically.
This is a 100% Malbec cuvée from the finest terroirs in Cahors, where the vines are an average of 30 years old.
Serve this wine at 17°C.
This is a wine of great complexity and deliciousness. The Cahors terroir shows all its breed and authenticity here.
On the nose, notes of coffee, blueberry and a hint of menthol come through very easily. It's a clean, precise and very tasty first impression.
Fleshy, juicy and racy on the palate, just like all the other Cosse Maisonneuve wines. A cuvée that has nothing to be ashamed of compared with many other more famous Cahors wines - quite the contrary!
