Passionate independent winemakers, we harvest, vinify, age, and market our wines ourselves.
A Cahors of character, Les Laquets is long and racy, with a persistent finish (cedar and black fruit), perfectly balanced by fine, precise ageing. A perfect representation of the Cosse-Maisonneuve style.
Supple on the palate, lovely freshness, light tannins, La Fage is a gourmet Cahors, friendly and joyful.
La Marguerite is the estate's prestige cuvée, from a 2.5 hectare parcel on the famous siderolithic terroir (clay-limestone mixed with reddish ferruginous deposits). A wine of great potential, where minerality vies with intensity.
Sidérolithe is a plot-based micro-cuvée created in 2017. The parcel is located on
siderolithic clay, with a high iron content, which gives the Cabernet
franc. Its raspberry and violet aromas and velvety texture are immediately reminiscent of Pomerol.
A 100% Cabernet Franc cuvée from the estate, created in 2016. A true Cabernet Franc with superb freshness, in the purest style of the estate.
In 1999, Domaine Cosse Maisonneuve was created to produce great Cahors wines.A few years later, we expanded the estate, which now covers 17 hectares, mainly planted with Malbec grapes, but also Merlot, Gamay and Cabernet Franc.
Biodynamic viticulture is part of the estate's philosophy, enabling us to produce grapes that perfectly reflect the identity of the Cahors terroir. Strict principles and a viticulture that respects nature: manual harvesting, small yields, precise and fair vinification.
